Cerrado Minas Gerais, Brazil | Natural Process | Single Origin
Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer. And the most underrated by specialty snobs. The Cerrado plateau of Minas Gerais grows naturally processed coffees of extraordinary smoothness and depth. The Oberon is exactly that: rich, low-acid, and built for daily drinking without ever getting boring.
Tasting Notes
Dark Chocolate | Hazelnut | Brown Sugar | Velvety Body
Smooth from start to finish. Dark chocolate dominates, with hazelnut and brown sugar weaving through a velvety body that makes every method. Pour-over, French press, espresso. Feel effortless. The finish is warm and lingering. This is the daily driver that earns its place in your rotation permanently.
The Cerrado Plateau
Cerrado Minas Gerais is one of Brazil's premier coffee-growing regions. A high-altitude savanna plateau with defined wet and dry seasons that make it ideal for natural processing. Cherries dry slowly in the sun, concentrating sugars into the bean and producing the smooth, sweet profile the region is known for. Grade 1, naturally processed, clean in the cup.
Brew Recommendations
- French Press: The best method for this coffee. Full immersion amplifies the chocolate body.
- Espresso: Pulls beautifully. Sweet, rich, and forgiving on grind. Ideal for milk drinks.
- Pour-over: Highlights the hazelnut and sugar notes. 1:15 ratio, 95°C.
- Drip: A reliable, deeply satisfying daily cup.
